The Responder S2
I was delighted to be asked back to photograph The Responder Season Two last year. It came at a great time as the show I was on had gone on strikes so it was perfect timing for everything. I love working with Martin, Emily, Adelayo and Josh, they are all such a welcoming cast despite the long and very cold nights. Always giving me space to get the shot.
“You’re only as good as the access you’re given.”
The quote is true, you can only be a good stills photographer if you’re given access to do your job. However, the time it takes to cultivate relationships with cast and crew helps this statement. Being polite, respectful and good-natured earns the trust of being given access. It’s a hard job sometimes but the end results of the hard work are worth it every time.
You guys are in for a treat with Season 2 - I was laughing, crying and every emotion in between watching the takes. It’s going to be a good’un!
