Online Photography course for freelancers

During these bizarre times I’ve seen a lot of friends, family and just online people discussing their future post lockdown. Some have lost their jobs, some have decided to quit, some are on extended furlough with no idea what is happening in the future. But I’ve seen a lot of people push forward with their creativity. Brains given space to think more clearly about what makes them happy, what pushes them, what inspires them. Let’s face it this epidemic has caused a rift, change and might have been a catalyst for a lot of creative people.

But what has been wonderful if seeing my students absolutely blossom during this time off. I’ve had so many emails from students who bought the course when it first arrived but weren’t able to fully put the time into watching/reading it let alone the time to start progressing with it. I’m guilty of doing this with SO much stuff. Even through lockdown.

Three of my students are now seriously deciding about whether to take the step into doing it full time now since they’ve had a year of doing solid book cover photography (I honestly wish I had done more but I was lucky enough to be on set).

I’m so proud of all of them, not just those three I’ll have you know. I’ve had some other wonderful emails from students all having ramped it up last year and just being thankful for the extra income every month whilst doing something they love and did anyway!

I know there are a ton of photography courses out there, there are crazy expensive ones and there are cheap as chips ones. It’s hard to know which category you’ll fall into, if you take really happy/bright photos of your kids/motor sports/wildlife there’s probably not a huge amount you could gain from my book cover photography course.

However if you photograph slightly on the dark side of your children, making it look more like a thriller then you could have a wide range you could gain from book cover photography. If you define your style as fine art photography then you definitely should consider it book covers. There’s a ton of potential and the royalty rates surpass any other stock library I’ve ever seen/been with!
